Ant Movie Catalog is a free and open-source software made to manage your collection of movies on Blu-Ray, DVD, CD (VideoCD, DivX, โฆ), and tapes with print, import and export functions, scripting, etc.
It can automatically create an HTML file, CSV file, or SQL commands with the contents of the movie list. For each movie, you can enter lots of information manually or automatically via a script.
There are plenty of scripts you can choose from, including an IMDb one. Just select the IMDb script, type in the name of a movie, select the movie you want (there will be several movies that match the name you typed), and then let Ant Movie Catalog import that data for you.
It also has a handy random selection tool that will randomly pick a movie from your collection โ that should come in handy when you want to watch a movie but canโt make up your mind about which one you want to watch.
